ACT Marketing Direct - is this company a scam ?

I had an interview 2 weeks ago in an office ( "office" 2 empty rooms with 2 laptops) I know they are connected with The Cobra Group which is not necessarily a scam but they have a bad reputation for misinforming employees ..

1. If you know that do you really need to ask anyone else what they think...?!
2. I would say go with the job just remember NEVER give any money to them if they ask for money for admin costs or anything. Make sure you get a contract of employment as you are entitled to one by law. and if all goes wrong make sure you get all money owed.
3. I have never heard of them but do you really want to work for a company whose office is 2 empty rooms and 2 laptops? I mean if they can't even afford a proper office how can you be sure you will be paid?
4. Check any company for scam at http://scampond.com, just search with the company name.
