Is there a better search portal for looking up technical stuff, like when searching for computer terms?

I am a Dutch translator, and often find myself looking for English equivalents to Dutch terms in areas such as: software engineering software architecture engineering management marketing etc Is there a search thingee that specialises in Technical Stuff or something? Thanks, Michael

1. I typically use Google when searching for technical subjects (sorry Yahoo!). Sites like StackOverflow are also useful if you have specific technical questions, though their listings will generally appear in Google's results anyway. So in short, all the tech people I know go to Google first.
2. I use Google and mostly every techie I know does too. As a techie you should familiarise yourself with three things: Google's Advanced Search http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en Google's Switches: http://www.google.com/help/features.html Pay particular Attention to: 'Reference' 'Choosing Keywords' and 'Query Refinements' Finally Google's specialised Search services such as Google Code Search: http://google.com/codesearch code.google: http://code.google.com/ and of course Google Scholar: http://scholar.google.com
