Is internet marketing dependable?

Hi, I am a retired person. I recently had a hip fracture which restricted my mobility. I wish to take up some sort of internet marketing like becoming an affiliate so that I can make a living out of it. If anyone is active in this sort of work, I very much appreciate their valuable and honest opinion and suggestions regarding affiliate marketing. Thank you.

3. It will take quite some time before it would become a solid source of income. Many people do this if someone else in their family is the main income earner or if it's a supplementary income. Affiliate marketing CAN be lucrative; don't get me wrong. It would just take a lot of time before you can build up some authority in the field that you choose. Remember, you don't want to become one of those messy affiliate sites that are cluttered with banner ads and links that don't really say anything. You want to carve out a niche for yourself, and to do that you need to specialize in a specific topic so that companies who are involved in the same field will know that your audience is relevant. 4. hello, yes I am a full time internet marketer and a Amazon Associate. I put up mini websites and these website generate me money. This is what i mainly do to make income. Not a millionaire but it's a start. Amazon Associates is good to me.
