Where can I find reviews of email marketing software for small businesses?

Hi. I need some software that I can send out email marketing messages with. We've not got a big list, just 2000. I've heard of dotmailer and mailchimp but want to know which is best?

1. Research it using Google. I'm sure a review has been done on both of those applications. If one has been done then it's likely you will find it doing a Google search.
2. Hi You can get some free download reviews from this site, they're independent and they don't pass your information to people as leads like a lot of the free sites do. Should be useful for you. They used to do a report which cost £500 called the Email Marketing Software Review and it was published by Mayfield Solutions. But now they're call 70 Fathoms and the information is free. Which is nice of them.

4. If you already have a list of subscribers the best thing to do is signup to a hosted email service such as Aweber (http://customemail.aweber.com/) and import the list into it. I recommended Aweber to all my clients as it is easy to use, has built in templates and will give you stats on who click what links + way more. It is a very comprehensive service that grows as you do. Another thing is that it will automatically manage your unsubscribe list and you can create forms and put them on your website to automatically add users to your list. Honestly I could talk all-day about how good it is.
