Is it wise for people to join more than one MLM company?

at the same time...perhaps one offers health products and the other offers phone service perhaps? Why don't people who do NOT believe in MLM just avoid answering MLM related questions in the first place. Some people like ice-cream some prefer Jell-O. Why the heck should an ice-cream lover go babbling about how bad Jell-O is? Stick to what you like and let others stick to what THEY like REGARDLESS of how silly or senseless it may appear to you. Gosh..

2. It's not wise to join an MLM company full stop, let alone two.
3. Only if they are much more gullible than the average MLMer.
4. Hello It depends. It depends on 1) you, 2) your experience in MLM, 3) the company you are considering, 4) the products 5) if you are joining to retail the products and / or to recruit people 6) if the two or more companies in question allow you to join other companies ... (some companies actually forbid you to join other companies!) 7) how much time you have to market each company 8) your strategy, 9) your budget (it cost money to make money) 10) how you plan to divide your attention to each company. I could add more, but I think you should know that joining one MLM company (I suppose the one you join is legal, with propoer products, a fair pay plan and a good management) and building a downline and a customer base is hard work. Joining TWO companies is TWICE as hard, especially if you are a newbie and doesn't have any experience in MLM worth mentioning. If by MLM you mean legal companies like Herbalife, Nu Skin etc. I would NOT recommend you join two IF you plan to succeed. Find and join ONE good company, find customers, recruit and train your downline, stay around for at least one full year, and then - if you are ready to join another - read that first companys terms and conditions. Check to see if you are allowed to start in another MLM. If you are - make 100% sure, because MLM companies are know to terminate distributors that doesn't comply with the rules. Then - check the MLM's terms - do they allow you to be a distributor in another (competing) company? Conclusion: It is NOT wise for people to join more than one MLM company, UNLESS they know the terms of those MLM companies. And UNLESS they are prepared to WORK.
