1. You don't have to join if you don't want. Most MLM partcipants lose money and time. Many are full of unrealistic hype and pressure to join. Saturation is the main Problem with these marketing strategies.
2. Depends on the company, your interests, your abilities, upfront payment ( if any ), etc. MLM companies usually require more work than they will tell you to make the income advertised. In fact, usually the time spent that they advertise is for the person who's built a solid downline/foundation and has been involved for awhile. The new person should expect to spend more time and energy. Good luck in your endeavor.
