If the ability to market a downline was not available in MLM or Network Marketing.....?????????

Could a rep., consultant or distributor sell enough of their product(s)/service(s) to make a living? Would the compensation for the sale of a product be worth the time?

Public Comments

  1. Depends on the product and the amount made per sale. Remember what J. Paul Getty once said, " I'd rather have 1% of the efforts of 100, than 100% of the efforts of 1
  2. Hi Marcello,....er...sorry, Yes, a person could sell enough of their products and/or services to make a living. Yes, the compensation for the sale would be worth the time. No, a seasoned marketer wouldn't consider doing that, why would they?
  3. Yes you can, but it entirely depends on the Compensation Plan. The majority of plans are geared to pay you for sponsoring, sponsoring and some more sponsoring. Some plans do not even pay you your residual income unless you sponsor certain number of people, and then lets not forget the monthly qualification “ceremony.” I'd spent many thousand upon thousands of dollars in my research of NM/MLM companies so far finding only half a dozen that pay you very handsomely for just finding a customer. One such company will reward you with approx. $5,000.00 a month for as few as 390 repeat customers. Considering your virtually zero overhead, that is very good. This was the lowest number of customers I'd found so far. Several other companies will reward you with approx. $10,000.00 a month for as few as 950 repeat customers. Considering that all the sales, shipping and delivery is handled by the company, their product marketed to several countries with total population close to a billion people, a person would have to be a total marketing moron if unable to find a thousand customers in less than 6 months. Of course the key to significantly larger income (During my research I personally met several people who are making weekly what average person makes annually) is in duplicating effect of your efforts. Majority of people fail in NM/MLM business because they do not understand this business concept, and because of very poor and practically non-existent marketing strategy or moronic suggestions from their sponsors like making list of friends and relatives and everybody who said hello to you during the last 10 years. Should you be interested to know how to evaluate an NM/MLM company that will suit your needs the best and rewards you accordingly for your efforts, contact me at my GMAIL address listed in my profile. P.S. Providing you are serious about NM/MLM Industry I can also instruct you on how to build your business (your down-line in the shortest possible time with very little attrition). I do NOT endorse any particular company and I do not have any secrets for sale, as there are none. Only common sense. You will have to do the evaluation yourself or if you already have a company in mind, you will use my guidelines to find out if this company is worthy of your name being attached to it. And believe me, majority of them are not, as they primarily look after their own interests or that of their shareholders, not the distributor. Sad but true. P.P.S. J.P.Getty also, toward the end of his life said: "I would gladly give all my money for the true love of a woman." The only efficient life is the life that is balanced, relaxed and creative. That can be easily accomplished providing a person is able and willing to abandon his ego and greed.
