Why is Network Marketing So Shunned by People?
I am a business owner affiliated with a company called Quixtar. I've shown my business plan to many people and have made a pretty decent amount of money selling products from our website. Still I find a lot of people who don't want to have anything to do with starting their own business and earning extra income.

- It's not that. The MLM model has had a history with bad experiences. In some ways, the resistance isn't directed at you or your idea but to a prior negative experience. Some of the models we great an had some bad people. Others had great people and a poor model. If it works for you, don't worry about other people's objections.
- Because most people who try it fail. Because many successful network marketing companies employ deceptive or high-powered sales practices. Because there is a fundamental misalignment in incentives between the company and the associates (especially new ones).
- The easy answer is MLM sales isn't sales per say it's about recruiting other people to do MLM. You need to find people that know this and you will do a lot better.
