Yes, we're doing quite well with affiliate programs, earning us thousands per month (in addition to our online advertising revenues) There are several factors to achieving success with affiliate programs: 1. Choose affiliate programs that your visitors would be interested in. The program should fit with the overall theme of your site and something your users would want. You can't achieve much success with an affiliate program for hotels if your website is about dogs. 2. Promote your affiliate programs. Using emails to banners to text links are ok. But the best way is through content -- write something about how effective the products/services are. Tell your audiences that these are the best tools for them and why. 3. Location, location, location. Don't just put your affiliate program links on one spot of your website, such as the homepage. Visitors don't always come through your homepage - and these people will not likely see the affiliates you are promoting. If you can, put them on almost every page of your website. The more visible the affiliate program is, the more chances you can get a sale
2. There are many great companies out there to affiliate with,just make sure that you check them out before you join. Also do not join a site that asks you for money to join, it is you that are doing them the honors of advertising for them, it is them who should do the paying.By you paying them to join is like going somewhere to apply for a job and tell them you will pay them to let you work for them. And like any other job you do, you have to work at it, you will only get out of it what you put into it.You are the key to your own success it comes from the drive within your sole only you can control where life will take you. Hard work will get you there, marketing is not an overnight success story, you can make alot of money, or alittle it depends on you. You need to be self motivated person you will be spending ours with your pc.And just because they tell you it is your own home buisness you will still be working under thier watchful eye and you have to obey the rules of marketing. It's fun and you will learn alot. Use all the tools, tips, and training you get to you advantage.You will get alot of help from other affiliates on your team. You should have support from these companies 24/7. And have a way of contacting them anytime you need to they should leave you a email address. phone,fax, and postal address to contact them by.there are alot of things you should know before you join anyone place do your homework just because someone tells you thier is the best place don't make it so. People will tell you anything to get you to join don't believe that you will make $1000's of dollars fast because it just isn't so.I have being in marketing for awhile and i never like being lied to and you won't either.
