Does anyone know of a marketing company with the below business model?

I am interested in finding out if there are existing companies that specialize in marketing via capitalizing on their existing relationships with high-end buyers or large corporations. Example: an ex-trainer for the NFL starts a company selling marketing to auto companies based on his relationships with varied NFL players. Example: an ex-CEO starts a company selling marketing to technology companies based on his relationships with other high-level executives at large corporations.

1. This form of marketing is soft marketing and many companies use this method to sell. Networking with already established contacts for the benefit of the company.
